Communications professional, Monica Green, will take on the role of National Chairman 2020/21 from 1 March 2020.
Women in Property has announced its incoming National Chairman 2020/21. Monica Green takes the national role as head of the property and construction industry lobbying and networking organisation from 1 March 2020, for one year.
Ms Green, a former Yorkshire & North East branch Chairman, is the owner and director of York-based property and construction PR and digital agency, The Partners Group. In her forthcoming year, Ms Green plans to grow the work Women in Property has been doing in addressing workplace issues including flexible working patterns, supporting women returners and mental wellbeing.
She says, “I took on the National Chairman role because I believe there is still lots of work to do to challenge stereotypes, celebrate diversity, champion role models and achieve a more balanced workplace.
“Because the organisation works at the highest levels – we are regular contributors to the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Women and Work, our members are involved in contributing to Welsh and Scottish Government panels, and we have strong relationships with professional bodies and businesses – Women in Property gives women in the industry a voice and the power to influence change.”
Ms Green will hold the role of National Chairman until 28 February 2021.
