Privacy Policy

The Think Global People website is the trading name Relocate Global Ltd of Spray Hill, Hastings Road, Lamberhurst, Kent, TN3 8JB

At Relocate Global Ltd we take your privacy very seriously and are committed to protecting your privacy and security. Our privacy policy is set out below. It tells you how we collect information about you, how we store and process the information, what we might use it for, who we might share the information with, and our practices regarding your personal data in compliance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

2.1 Your information will be stored on our secure web server and we will keep our own backup copy. We may also store your information on paper at our offices.

2.2 We will keep your information secure by taking appropriate technical and organisational measures against its unauthorised or unlawful processing and against its accidental loss, destruction or damage.

2.3 You have a statutory right to see a copy of the information we hold about you. Please email info@thinkglobalpeople.com with any such request.

3. What we use your information for

3.1 Unless there is a reason to do so for which we believe there is a Legitimate Interest (see next paragraph), we will use your personal information (including email address) only for the purposes which you have given us consent to do so.

4. Legitimate Interests

4.1 We process your personal information for carefully considered and specific purposes which are in our interests and enable us to enhance the services we provide, but which we believe also benefit you, our customers. This will usually be in the form of email updates and newsletters and Think Global People / Relocate magazine which is issued in print or digitally via an email, information on our awards and events or provision of products and other services from Think Global People.

4.2 In all our communications by email or in print we will offer you the right to ‘Opt Out’ of receiving further communications.

4.3 You have the right to object to this processing of your data, but please bear in mind that this may affect our ability to carry out tasks for your benefit. If you object to this processing of your data, then please ‘Opt Out’ to a communication or request that your data is deleted by emailing info@thinkglobalpeople.com.

5. With whom we may share your data

5.1 We may share your information with selected third parties including:-

5.2 Business partners, suppliers and service providers for the performance of a contract we enter into with you;

5.3 service providers who may wish to contact you to follow up an enquiry you have made.

5.4 We will disclose your information in order to comply with any legal obligation or in order to enforce or apply our website terms and conditions or to protect the rights, property or security of others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purpose of fraud protection.

5.5 We may share your information with other companies in the same group structure as Relocate Global Ltd.

5.6 Any credit or debit card details you supply will be stored by the external payment provider and your card issuer for payment processing reasons. We will not store any card payment data.

6. Event registration/Eventbrite

6.1 We use Eventbrite as our online events registration provider. By registering your information with Eventbrite you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to Eventbrite for processing. Eventbrite will only process your Personal Data to help administer that event.

6.2 Eventbrite merely provides the “tools” for Organisers; Eventbrite does not decide what Personal Data to request on registration forms, nor is it responsible for the continued accuracy of any Personal Data provided. For further details please see Eventbrite’s Privacy Policy.

7. Your rights

7.1 If you no longer wish to receive email updates and newsletters you can unsubscribe by clicking on the relevant link included in the footer of every email. Alternatively please email your request to info@thinkglobalpeople.com.

7.2 You also have the right to be removed from our system completely. To do this, please email us with your name to info@thinkglobalpeople.com.

This will be actioned within 15 working days and you will receive confirmation when this has been done.

8. Changes to our Privacy Policy

8.1 Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by email.
